Ingredients
5 slices of bread
1 tbsp butter
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup milk
Preparation
Cut the bread slices into small cubes
Toast these bread cubes in a pan (do not add oil)
Prepare the caramel syrup by melting sugar in a hot pan
Add butter when the syrup turns golden brown in colour
After the butter has melted in the sugar syrup, add the milk gradually
Now allow this mixture to boil well
Into it add the toasted bread cubes
Mix well until the bread cubes are nicely coated with the caramel syrup on all sides
Place the caramel coated bread cubes on a tray
Enjoy after it has cooled down.
