This is the perfect recipe if you are game to try a unique dish. You could easily turn the left over chapathis into delicious chilli chapathis for breakfast. Here is how you could prepare the chilli chapathis that tastes amazing with yogurt raita.
Ingredients
3 cooked chapathis (cut into square pieces)
Small piece ginger (chopped)
3 cloves garlic (chopped)
1 small capsicum
1 small onion
1 green chilli
Half tomato
½ tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp tomato sauce
½ tbsp red chilli sauce
½ tbsp garam masala
½ tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder
¼- ½ tsp turmeric powder
1 ½ tbsp vegetable oil
Salt as required
Preparation
Heat vegetable oil in a pan and sauté ginger and garlic
Into it add the onion and capsicum
When the onions turn translucent and soft add the green chili and salt as required
Give it a good mix
Now add the garam masala, Kashmiri chilli powder and turmeric powder
Saute until the raw smell of the powders is gone
Add the soy sauce, tomato sauce and red chilli sauce
Mix well
Finally add in the chapathi pieces
Mix everything well together
This dish tastes best when served hot.
