Fish fry is one of the most loved fish preparations that tastes amazing with piping hot rice. Here is an easy recipe of delicious fish fry prepared without adding even a drop of oil. It is healthy and incredibly delicious as well.
Ingredients
6 fish fillets
2 tbsp chilli powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 cup water
For the masala marinade
Small piece ginger
6 shallots
6 cloves garlic
2 green chillies
Curry leaves as required
Preparation
Grind the ginger, garlic, green chillies and curry leaves into masala paste. Keep it aside.
Heat a pan and pour a cup of water into it.
Add salt into the boiling water, along with the previously prepared masala paste. Mix well.
After a minute, add turmeric powder, chilli powder, and black pepper powder.
Mix and allow this to boil well.
Now add the fish fillets and cook both sides by flipping it. There should be enough water in the pan to half soak the fish fillets.
Take the cooked fish off the heat only after the water has reduced well.
