Keto diet involves lots of chicken dishes and also vegetables that are low on carbohydrates. If you are bored with all the regular curries and dishes, check out this special chicken-mushroom dish which is tasty and healthy. This recipe is simple and can be whipped up in a jiffy.
Ingredients
150 gms chicken breast
200 gms mushroom
1 capsicum
1 tbsp garlic paste
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp paprika powder (or 1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder)
Butter as required
Salt as required
Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
Slice the chicken breasts in half. To prepare the marinade, mix the paprika powder, pepper powder, and turmeric powder in some water.
Marinate the sliced chicken breasts with this paste and keep it aside for at least half an hour.
Heat two table spoons of butter in a pan and add the marinated chicken breasts. Cook both sides by flipping the chicken. Set the cooked chicken aside.
Heat some more butter in the same pan and add the chopped mushrooms.
Stir the mushrooms for a while and cook it with the lid on.
After the mushrooms have cooked, add the capsicum, half tea spoon pepper powder and salt ass required.
Cut the cooked chicken into small strips and add it into the mushroom mix.
Give it a good mix and add the grated mozzarella cheese on top.
Close the lid until the cheese melts.
Mix everything well together before serving the dish.
