Crispy potato rings, an excellent tea time snack, is incredibly easy to make. These delicious rings would be loved by both children and adults. Here is the recipe of the potato rings:
Ingredients
3 potatoes
½ cup semolina
Salt as required
1 tsp turmeric powder
4 tbsp rice flour
Coriander leaves
Curry leaves
Dried chilies (cut into small pieces)
Green chilies (finely chopped)
½ cup water
Preparation
Boil half cup water with turmeric powder and salt
Add the semolina into the boiling water and stir well until it is cooked
Turn off the flame and allow the semolina to cool down
Into a bowl, add boiled and mashed potatoes, semolina, green chilies, chopped dried chilies, coriander leaves, curry leaves, rice flour and salt as required
Mix everything well
Rub oil on your palms
Make small balls from the potato mixture and shape it into rings
Heat oil in a pan
Add the potato rings and fry until golden and crispy
Tastes best when served hot with tomato ketchup or coriander chutney.
