Fried rice with beef

Fried rice, which came from North India, has become a favourite of Keralites in no time. This flavoured rice which is loaded with vegetables, meat or sea food, is widely served for wedding feasts as well. Here is a simple and delicious recipe of fried rice with beef which is a perfect dish to be served at the next family gathering.
Ingredients
225 gms tender beef (cut into pieces)
2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
2 cups basmati rice
4 tbsp oil
3 dried chilli (finely chopped)
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp tomato sauce
Salt as required
Pepper as required
2 tbsp milk
2 tbsp flour ( maida)
2 tbsp butter
2 eggs
Preparation
Clean the fat off the beef and slice into thin pieces
Marinate with ginger-garlic paste and set it aside
Cook rice in salted, boiling water
Heat oil in a pan
Add 2 chopped onions
Sauté well
Add beef slices and dried chilli flakes
Cook for some time and set it aside
In a hot wok, add rice, soy sauce, tomato sauce, salt and pepper as required
Mix well
Dip the rest of the sliced onions in milk and coat it with maida
Heat oil in a pan and fry the coated onions to crisp
Add 2 tsps of water into the eggs and beat well
In another pan, melt some butter
Make an omelet and cut into long pieces
In a flat serving dish, serve rice first
Place the beef slices on top of it
Garnish with omelet pieces and fried onions
Fried rice with beef tastes best when served hot
