A three coloured paneer tikka for the right event would win you a lot of applause, but the dish can be made on any day to hike up the aesthetic factor.
Ingredients
1 capsicum, sliced
2 large onions, chopped
150gm paneer, cubed
3 tsp ginger-garlic paste
Salt, as required
1 dsp mustard oil
5 dsp thick curd
1 small tsp chilli powder
1 small tsp cumin powder
1 small tsp garam masala powder
A little kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
1 small tsp turmeric powder
1 small tsp garam masala powder
1 small tsp cumin powder
1 small tsp garlic, minced
¾ cup coriander leaves
1 tsp mint
2 green chilies
1 small tsp fennel powder
Preparation
Take the paneer cubes, onion slices, capsicum, ginger-garlic paste, salt, mustard oil and curd in a large bowl and mix together well
Divide this mix into three and transfer to three bowls
Add the chilli powder, cumin powder, garam masala and kasuri methi to the first bowl and mix
Add the turmeric powder, garam masala, cumin powder and garlic to the second bowl and the coriander leaves, mint, green chillies and fennel powder to the third bowl, mixing well
Grill these in a grill or hot pan
Arrange, alternating the colours and appetising paneer tikkas are ready
