An appetising as well as aesthetic paneer treat, this one is perfect for next candle-lit surprise you're planning for that special someone!

Ingredients

    2 large spoons oil
    Cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, all put together in one tsp
    4 small spoons ginger-garlic paste
    100g large onion, made to a paste
    1 tbsp cashew nuts, ground
    2 tsp curd battered
    ½ tsp honey
    1 pinch saffron
    1 tsp chilli powder
    ½ tsp turmeric powder
    Salt, as required

    1 tsp sugar
    300g paneer

Preparation

    Heat oil in a pan and drop the cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and ginger-garlic paste in it
    Stir in the onion paste in it and upon turning golden brown colour, add ground cashew nuts and stir again
    Mix curd to it and stir after adding honey and saffron
    Add chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt, and stir adding the sugar. Let it boil for three minutes
    Add paneer cut in the shape of heart into it, boil and remove from stove when done
