Appam tweaked in a new way to suit the season; this fluffy and soft breakfast treat never goes out of fashion!
Ingredients
1 cup white flattened rice
1 cup raw rice (soaked)
1 cup grated coconut
3 tbsp sugar
Salt to taste
Yeast as required
Preparation
Grind the raw rice, grated coconut, flattened rice, yeast, and sugar together by adding a little water to it
Prepare a fine batter by adding the yeast and salt to this mixture
When the batter has fermented and risen, make appams in the traditional appam pan
