Meringue with strawberry and cream

A surprise element is always welcomed, especially when it's about food. Try out these cool meringue baskets for this V-Day.
Ingredients
2 egg whites
1 pinch salt
100 gm powdered sugar
50 gm fresh cream
Strawberries and mint leaves for garnishing
Preparation
Beat the eggs with an electric beater till soft and fluffy
When you remove the beater from the mix, the mix should be stiff, yet malleable. That is the consistency
First, add salt to the mix and beat again, after that, add the sugar and beat really well. The mix should stick to the bowl when it is upturned and not be runny
Pre heat the oven to 100°-110°C
Keep a baking sheet ready. Use the star nozzle on the piping bag and place the egg mixture into the bag. Make small balls onto the sheet and surround these with another layer of the mix. It should look like little cups
Bake these in the heated oven for about 1½ hours. These are the Meringue baskets. Once cooled, remove from the oven
Beat the cream well and keep aside
Right before serving, put the cream in the Meringue basket and garnish with strawberry slices and mint leaves
Notes
Putting in the cream earlier will make the baskets soggy.
