Ingredients
1 bowl ash gourd skin (cut into small pieces)
1 small onion
6 shallots
6 garlic cloves
3 green chillies
2 sprigs curry leaves
2 tbsp coconut oil
½ tbsp salt
¼ tsp turmeric powder
½ tbsp crushed chillies
 ½ glass water

Preparation
Heat coconut oil in a pan
Sauté crushed shallots, garlic, curry leaves and green chillies
Add turmeric powder and chilli powder
Sauté until the raw smell of the powders are gone
Into it add finely chopped onion
Mix well and cook for 5 minutes with the lid on
Add the ash gourd skin and mix well
Cook on low flame with the lid on
Stir occasionally
After 10 minutes, pour in the water
Give everything a good mix and cook for 10 more minutes with the lid on
Open the lid and stir on high flame
Finally, add the grated coconut and mix well
Enjoy the dish with hot rice.
