Ingredients
2 drumsticks (cut into pieces)
2 tomatoes (diced)
2 green chillies (split)
12 shallots (finely chopped)
1½ cup water
Salt as required
1 cup grated coconut
4 shallots
1 garlic clove
½ tsp cumin
¼ tsp turmeric powder
½ cup water
For tempering
1 tsp mustard seeds
4 shallots
Curry leaves as required
2 tbsp coconut oil

Preparation
Cook the drumsticks, tomatoes, shallots with some salt and 1½ cups water with the lid on
The drumsticks would take up to 5-10 minutes to cook nicely
The drumsticks shouldn€™t be overcooked while the tomatoes should be nice and mushy
Prepare the paste by grinding grated coconut, shallots, garlic, cumin, turmeric powder, and water
Add this coconut paste into the cooked drumsticks
Cook until the raw taste of the coconut is gone
Turn off the flame and keep the curry aside
For the tempering heat coconut oil in a pan
Splutter the mustard seeds
Roast the shallots and curry leaves
Add this tempering into the curry
Mix well
Enjoy the drumstick curry.
