Actress Reenu Mathews on her love for world cuisine

In a recent interview with Onmanorama, Malayam actress Reenu Mathews shared her experiences as a cabin crew member with a popular airline for 15 years. She also shared her love for food that developed as a by-product of her job which demands constant globe-trotting.
An avid traveller, Reenu loves trying out different cuisines and dishes from around the world. She even wishes to write a book about her journeys and the flavours that she experienced during those days.
Reenu makes notes of the dishes and its cultural significance wherever she goes. However, Reenu admits she has not been able to begin her book owing to her extremely busy schedule. She has many tales to share: "I tasted a unique wine in Vienna that is usually served during the Christmas season. You can enjoy this wine by reheating it."
Speaking of her favourite food she says, "I never get bored eating the Greek dish moussaka. It is an extremely delicious dish made with minced meat, cheese, and eggplant."
Reenu is a big fan of Thai food as well. "I have a favourite restaurant in Bangkok. Thai green curry and morning glory are some of the vegetarian dishes that I love," she says.
Although when is comes to dessert, she believes Japan and France have the best cakes and pastries. "I think the Japanese make the most delicious chocolate," says Reenu.
