Many complain that store-bought eggs that have 'fresh' written on the pack are often rotten. Here is an easy way to test whether your store-bought or refrigerated eggs are fresh.
• Take a glass bowl full of water and drop the egg in it.
• If the egg sinks and rests on the bottom of the bowl, then it is fresh and fit to be eaten.
• If the egg tilts upwards and stands on an upright position, then the egg is a few weeks old but still good to eat.
• It is better to eat this egg hard boiled. Keep the boiled egg in the hot water for longer duration before eating it.
However, if they float to the surface, the egg is no longer fresh and should not be eaten.
