Chicken biryani can easily be prepared in a pressure cooker. This tasty biryani is loaded with spices and flavours.

Ingredients
2 glasses biryani rice (cleaned and soaked)
1 kilogram broiler chicken (cut in large pieces)
Chilli powder
Turmeric powder
Pepper powder
Salt as required
¼ cup ghee
¼ cup vegetable oil
6 green chilies
Ginger (1/2 inch)
Garlic (1 whole bulb)
1 ½ cups tomato (diced)
1 cup coriander leaves, curry leaves, and mint leaves (chopped)
¾ tbsp garam masala
¾ tbsp biryani masala
½ cup curd
Onion as required (thinly sliced)
Raisins and cashews as required

Preparation
Marinate the chicken pieces in chilli powder, pepper powder, turmeric powder, and salt
Heat ghee and vegetable oil in a large cooker
Sauté onions 
Add tomato and sauté for some more time
Add crushed green chillies, ginger, and garlic
Add some of chopped coriander, curry and mint leaves and sauté well
Add the marinated chicken pieces, pepper powder, garam masala, biryani masala, and curd
Add the drained rice on top of this
Pour three glasses boiled water into it
Add salt as per taste
Close the lid of the cooker and cook on medium flame
Turn off the flame when the cooker whistles once
Open the cooker when the steam is let off completely 
Meanwhile heat oil in a pan
Fry the thinly sliced onions, raisins and onions and set it aside
In a flat serving dish, spread the rice evenly
Serve the chicken pieces along with the masala on top of it
Add the rest of chopped coriander, curry and mint leaves 
Garnish with fried onions, raisins, and cashew
Serve hot with raita and pickle
