'Premam' named best Malayalam album of 2015 by Apple Poster of the movie

After becoming one of the biggest blockbusters that Malayalam film industry has ever seen, Premam now gets another feather in its cap!

Apple Music has released the 'Best Of 2015' in various music categories and Premam is chosen as the 'Best Malayalam Album'. Apple Music has bestowed this honour to Premam after their team of music experts and editors evaluated numerous releases of the year.

Premam is a musical romantic comedy drama film written, edited and directed by Alphonse Puthren. Produced by Anwar Rasheed under the banner - Anwar Rasheed Entertainment, the film stars Nivin Pauly, Anupama Parameshwaran, Sai Pallavi and Madonna Sebastian in the lead roles along with a supporting cast of Shabareesh Varma, Vinay Forrt, Krishna Sankar, Soubin Sahir and Deepak Nathan.

Featuring nine tracks, the music of Premam is composed by Rajesh Murugesan with lyrics penned by Shabareesh Varma and Pradeep Palar. Vineeth Sreenivasan, Vijay Yesudas, Shabareesh Varma, Rajesh Murugesan, Murali Gopi, Anirudh Ravichander, Haricharan, Renjith Govind and Alaap Raju have sung in the film.

The songs had become a rage even before the movie's release and Malare track sung by Vijay Yesudas even went on to become a viral phenomenon.
