'KGF' star Yash impresses with Mohanlal's punch dialogue

Kannada actor Yash's latest movie 'KGF' is raking in the moolah at the box office. KGF - Kolar Gold Fields - released in five languages including Malayalam, and for a majority of the Malayali audiences Yash is a newcomer.

But recently, he grabbed attention among Mollywood movie buffs after a video clip of his interview went viral. The video was also shared by Malayalam music composer Shaan Rahman.

When the anchor asked him to deliver a punch dialogue from any Malayalam movie, he took no time to repeat one of those ever-green classic dialogue from Mohanlal-starrer Ravanaprabhu, “Savari giri giri”.

Interestingly, Yash impressed us all the more when he said that he knows one Malayalam song and rendered it. He sang, “Palavattom kaathu ninnu...”, which was one of the hit album song composed by Shaan Rahman and crooned by Vineeth Sreenivasan.

He then went on to speak in Malayalam requesting everyone to watch 'KGF' in theatres. Watch the video:

Having started his career in Kannada television, Yash made his debut in cinema in 2013 with the film "Googly" and delivered some commercially successful films like "Mr and Mrs Ramachari", "Gajakesari" and "Santhu Straight Forward". Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film is being released in two parts. The Malayalam version of the film is distributed by Global United Media.
