Close on the heels of the huge success of 'Kurup' Dulquer Salmaan is all set to titillate his fans with his next movie, 'Salute', which is scheduled for release in the theatres on January 14. This would be the first Dulquer movie to be shaped by Rosshan Andrrews-Snajay-Bobby team.
The police story pitched by Rosshan Andrrews after 'Mumbai Police' has Dulquer Salmaan playing the lead character of Aravind Karunkaran. The makers are hoping to receive the pan-India acceptance which Dulquer's previous film 'Kurup' witnessed.
This is the fifth film produced by Dulquer Salmaan under the banner Wayfarer Films. Bollywood actress and model Diana Penty is the female lead in the movie, while Manoj K Jayan, Alancier, Binu Pappu, Vijayakumar, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Saniya Iyappan appear in supportive roles.
Music is by Jakes Bejoy and Sreekar Prasad is taking care of editing. Aslam Purayil is the DOP of the movie, while the make-up is by Saji Koratty.
