Nayanthara is indeed the lady superstar! Each time she comes up with a movie, Nayans makes sure to deliver a hit. With huge fan base cross South India, the her growth as an actress is proof that female stars can carve a niche in the industry.
Her latest release Love Action Drama opposite Nivin Pauly had got a good opening on day one and looks like it will have stiff competition with the Mohanlal and Prithviraj-starrer Ittymaani Made in China and Brother's Day releasing on Friday.
While Nayanthara is gearing up for Bigil and Darbar and will be seen in the big budget movie Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, reports about her salary is doing the rounds.
Reportedly, Nayanthara is charging a whopping Rs 4 or Rs 5 crore for each film. This is by far the highest remuneration for an actress in Tamil film industry. With Rs 5 crore for a project, her salary is what second-tier heroes charge.
However, the charge is less when it comes to Malayalam movies.
While Bigil is scheduled to hit screens on Diwali, AR Murugadoss' Darbar is slated for Pongal 2021 release. Post Darbar, the actress has not signed any movies till now. Rumours are rife that Nayans is all set to tie the knot with her longtime boyfriend and director Vignesh Shivan soon.
