Three years back, Malayalam actor Anusree shared about the exorbitantly priced snacks at a coffee shop in Thiruvananthapuram airport through a Facebook post.

Now, Bollywood actor Rahul Bose seems to be in a similar situation. The actor was in for a shock when a five-star in Chandigarh charged him an exorbitant Rs 442.50 for 2 bananas.

Sharing a video, the actor narrated that he ordered two bananas while he was in the gym of the hotel. He got his bananas and to his shock the bill of Rs 442.50, including GST was listed as ‘fruit platter’. The actor said the bananas are 'just too good for me'.

He captioned, “You have to see this to believe it. Who said fruit wasn’t harmful to your existence? Ask the wonderful folks at @JWMarriottChd #goingbananas #howtogetfitandgobroke #potassiumforkings.”

The video is now being circulated on social media and netizens accused the hotel of 'cheating their customers'.

For the uninitiated, Malayalam actress Anusree ordered black tea, a coffee and two puffs from a restaurant at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport and she was charged Rs 680 for it. With her post going viral, the Kerala State Human Rights Commission later ordered a probe against the Kitchen Restaurant at the airport. The Commission then had also directed the airport director, Consumer Affairs Department Secretary, Food Safety Commissioner, Legal Metrology Commissioner and Kitchen Restaurant manager to submit a report too.
