Unlike Kapil Dev, the erstwhile superstar of Indian cricket, his daughter Amiya Dev seems to be treading a path in the world of glitz and glamour.

No, she's not making her acting debut but will be assisting director Kabir Khan on his next film titled '83', starring Ranveer Singh in the lead.

Reportedly, Kapil Dev is also actively helping the makers for portraying all the nuances of the 1983 World Cup which is the basis for the film.

Currently, the film is in its pre-production work and Amiya, 23, is making sure things go right.
