350 vacancies in Indian Coast Guard for Navik, Yantrik categories

The Indian Coast Guard has invited applications from candidates for filling 350 vacancies in posts such as Navik (general duty, domestic branch) and Yantrik.

Only male candidates can apply and the last date is September 22.

Posts and eligibility

For Navik (domestic branch), the minimum qualification is a pass in Class 10.

For Navik (general duty), applicants should have passed Plus Two (Class 12) with Maths and Physics.

The basic qualification of candidates for Yantrik duty is Class 10 along with a three or four-year diploma in electrical / mechanical / electronics / telecommunication (radio/power) engineering or a pass in Plus Two (Class 12) and two or three-year diploma in the above engineering branches.

Age

The applicants should be aged between 18 and 22 years. Those belonging to eligible categories will be given relaxation.

Selection

Candidates will be given appointments based on a selection process which includes a computer-based online exam, physical endurance test, medical checkup and document verification.

Fee

The application fee is Rs 300. However, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Tribes are exempted from payment of the fee.
