Thiruvananthapuram: In a big blow for job-seekers in the state, a crucial exam of the Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC) and the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) are scheduled to take place on consecutive days this month.

The Kerala PSC test scheduled on May 27 is the third phase of a graduate-level exam for three different posts. At the same time, the UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination will take place the right next day.

A large number of candidates in Kerala have applied for both tests. These candidates have been allotted centres at different parts of the state for each test, making it impossible for them to take both the public exams.

Such candidates have now appealed to the Kerala PSC authorities to postpone the degree-level exam and save their chances as well as future.
