The Employment Provident Fund Organisation is inviting online applications for 2,674 positions of social security assistant and 185 positions of stenographer. The deadline for submitting applications is April 26th.
Posts, eligibility, salary
Social security assistant: The applicants need to be graduates in any subject. They should possess a typing speed of 35 English words per minute and 30 Hindi per minute (on computer). The salary scale is Rs 29,200–Rs 92,300.
Stenographer: Those who have passed Plus Two can apply. Besides, they need to pass a skill test of dictation (80 words per minute; 10 minute long test), transcription (English: 50 minutes/ Hindi: 65 minutes on computer). The salary scale for this post is Rs 25,500–Rs 81,100.
Age limit: Those who are between 18 and 27 years can apply for these posts. Deserving candidates can avail age relaxation.
Application fees: Applicants need to pay a fee of Rs 7,00. Candidates of Scheduled Caste/Tribe categories, persons with disabilities, ex–military personnel and women need not pay any fees. Those who are applying for both posts need to pay the fees separately.
