Thiruvananthapuram: The Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) meeting of the teachers’ associations in Kerala has recommended the government to conduct the public examinations for high school and higher-secondary students by mid-March next year.

The meeting suggested March 13 to 30 period for scheduling the Class-10 Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination and those of the Plus-One (Class 11) and Plus-Two (Class 12).

If this plan materialises it will be almost after three years that the authorities would be able to conducted these exams together.

The higher secondary examinations are likely to be scheduled in the morning, while the SSLC exams would be held in the afternoon session.

The meeting also decided to conduct the model exams from March 1 onwards.
