Renowned DJ star Sonu Sebastian hit the terrain of Christ College, Irinjalakuda, at a fund-raiser. He mesmerised the jam-packed audience at the college auditorium the other day. Other music bands like the Pistol Head also performed. A bike rally and stunt by this band enthralled the students.

As the night grew older, the solo and the drum played by Sonu had dazed the audience for a few moments. Sonu gave some mystic minutes as the drum space filled with water created a unique sound unlike that from normal drum works.

A trendsetter

Sonu Sebastian, a trailblazing EDM percussionist, began drumming at an early age. Sonu grew to become a flexible player after trying out the latest orchestra instruments. His shows are a visual and acoustic treat. Innovation and improvisation helped him to transform into astonishing performer. At different stages, he has introduced LED-based percussion, water drumming and some more. His imaginative use of water and LED drumming adds to us the visual effects. As he plays his instruments, we see water going up like a spring with a foundation of lights.
