Karyavattom: Kerala University Departments Union unveiled a collection of poems by second-year political science student Midhun PV. The anthology titled  'Niraye Meenukalulla Oru Muri'  launched last week at a function held on the campus here.

Arts club representative Dilsha welcomed the audience to the programme. Noufal N introduced the book to the audience which was recently published by December books Payyannur. The preface of the book is written by story writer Vinoy Thomas.

An active discussion followed by the introduction. University Union Councillor Shimji Kannan, presided the function while Dr M A Siddique, Professor, Department of Malayalam, University of Kerala inaugurated the function. District commitee member of PuKaSa and research scholar of Malayalam department Anilkumar David, poetess and research scholar of Malayalam department Maya talked about the book.

Midhun P V is the first prize holder in both story writing and poem writing in the university festival.
