Vivo X20 Plus UD | Photo: TwitterChinese smartphone developer Vivo has launched Vivo X20 Plus UD with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone, which is a new variant of X20 Plus launched in September 2017, will be available in China starting February 1.
There is no official confirmation about the India launch date. However, some reports say that the company would likely launch the phone in India in March 29. Priced at CNY 3,598 (approximately Rs 36,100), the phone will be available in a single color variant – black with a golden frame.

The fingerprint sensor under the display is powered by Synaptics Clear ID 9500. The new sensor, which is capable of working under layers up to 1.5mm thick, has been developed as a replacement for the current fingerprint sensor solutions.
X20 Plus UD runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) and features 6.43-inch super AMOLED display with full-HD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.
The phone comes with 128GB internal storage and can be expanded up to 256GB.

The dual-SIM phone (Nano), comes with a big 6.43-inch super AMOLED display with 1080x2160 pixel resolution (full-HD+) and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is powered by an octa-core processor (four cores clocked at 1.8GHz and four cores clocked at 2.2 GHz speed) coupled with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC and 4GB RAM.
The Vivo X20 Plus UD has a dual camera setup - 12 MP paired with 5 MP - at the rear. The 12MP primary rear camera comes with f/1.8 aperture. In addition, the phone boasts of a 12 MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and features like face wake.
Connectivity options include Micro-USB, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Accelerometer, ambient light, and proximity are some of the sensors on board. A 3900mAh battery powers the phone. Measuring 165.2 x 80.02 x 7.35mm (height x width x thickness), the phone weighs 183.1g.
