Guntur: Kerala Under-19 women's cricket team scored a truly special win over Nagaland in the BCCI one-day super League Group B match here on Friday.
Kerala shot out Nagaland for just two runs and then achieved the target off the very first ball!
Nagaland, who opted to bat on winning the toss, could make only two despite lasting 17 overs.
Opener Menka was the lone player to open the account. She made one, while the other solitary run came off a wide. Nine Nagaland players fell for ducks. Kerala captain Minnu Mani picked up four wickets without conceding a run off her four overs.
In reply, Kerala opener Ansu Raju smashed a boundary off the first ball after the innings began with a wide.
The match, supposed to be 50-overs-a-side game, got over in a jiffy.
