Murder On Sunday, during a booze session, an argument broke out which resulted in a fight and the murder of Deepanshu: Representative Image

New Delhi: Three young men, including a Keralite, have been arrested by the Delhi Police when they were trying to dump the body of their 23-year-old friend stuffed in a suitcase.

Those arrested included Vishal Tyagi, Paurush Kumar, and Keralite Manoj Pillai, alias Kuttu. The deceased was identified as Deepanshu, who was a flatmate with the three at Greater Noida.

Twenty-year-old Vishal, a doctor's son, had cleared this year's NEET exam.

On Sunday, during a booze session, an argument broke out which resulted in a fight and the murder of Deepanshu, a cousin of Vishal.

Police said Tyagi and Kumar pinned down Deepanshu following an argument and Pillai strangled him to death. The trio then cut his body into pieces and stuffed it inside a suitcase and went out to dump it in the Yamuna river. They tried in vain to get friend Lakho's car for the purpose. They then took an e-rickshaw, but their luck ran out when cops saw blood dripping out of the suitcase.

Pillai was earlier based out of Uttarakhand. He had shifted to Greater Noida recently. For the past five months, the four were living in a flat in Greater Noida.
