As Snapchat continued to suffer after their CEO Evan Spiegel's 'poor India' comment, singer Adnan Sami too joined hundreds and thousand of desi users and uninstalled the app. The Pakistani-origin singer then proudly proclaimed his good deed on the Twitter too.

But tweeple on the other side of the border took offense to the singer's act for showing loyalty towards India and trolled him royally. Some of the tweets even said that Sami uninstalled the app lest India would cancel his citizenship.
But Adnan Sami was not to be cowed down by such trolls and he reminded them that the tweet wasn't about them. “It ws bout Snapchat.Stop trying 2 jump in & b relevant like a jilted lover!Get over it.Jai Hind!,” he tweeted.
Tweeple on this side of the Wagah border too stood up for the singer and said that he truly belonged here.
The singer was born and raised in the UK and he was granted citizenship by India on 1 January 2016.
