A native of Pala in Kottayam, George has also served as deputy chief of mission of Indian embassy in Saudi Arabia and Iran.Kottayam: Keralite Sibi George has been appointed the ambassador of India to Switzerland.
A 1993 batch IFS officer, George is presently the joint secretary in the ministry of external affairs.
