Actress attack case: PC George’s son has a conspiracy theory Shone George and Dileep

Kottayam: The actress who was sexually assaulted in a moving car near Kochi cannot expect to be served justice, said Shone George, the son of Poonjar MLA P.C. George.

The police had a single-point agenda in this case and that was to keep actor Dileep behind the bars, said the advocate, echoing his maverick father. Shone took to Facebook to allege that the police were acting in cahoots with prime accused “Pulsar” Suni, who the actress said, led the goons who barged into her car on February 17.

Suni and the police were supporting each other. The police are all ears for Suni but they still can’t recover the memory card that could contain the visuals of the crime, Shone said. He added that this missing link is cited as the main reason for denying bail to Dileep, who is accused of criminal conspiracy in the case.

The case the police have built cannot withstand the trial, Shone said, adding that he based his observation on the victim’s statement and the investigation report. He went on to suggest that the police may be wanting just that scenario as per a secret agreement with Suni.

How can the 11th accused be convicted if the first accused is not convicted, asked Shone. We may even see the first accused turning hostile, he added.

He said that the people working against Dileep were only interested in keeping the actor behind the bars for some time and weaken his career. They are not really interested in serving justice to the victim. It may be too late by the time the actress realizes that the people around her were actually undermining her cause, Shone said.

If the girl was assaulted, all the culprits should be brought to justice, he added.
