Aluva: K.B. Ganesh Kumar, MLA, has not violated jail norms while visiting actor Dileep in Aluva sub-jail where he has been remanded in connection with the actress attack case, an official report says.
Jail superintendent, Aluva, submitted his report on the visit to Angamaly First Class Judicial Magistrate court. The report says that Ganesh and Dileep did not discuss the case during the visit.
The report also lists out the visitors Dileep had in the jail between September 2 and 5.
Ganesh's jail visit kicked up a controversy after he urged the film fraternity to extend their support to Dileep. Ganesh also made it clear that he would not oppose Dileep until he is declared guilty by the court.
Meanwhile, Dileep on Thursday moved aa fresh bail plea in the Angamaly court. He was arrested on July 10 on charges of plotting the February 17 attack on a prominent actress.
