For the same reason, when he finally decided to build a house, he didn’t have to think twice about its location. But the family took their own sweet time for planning. Together, they read hundreds of magazines on architecture and design.

The inhabitants of the house say that this open space brings more light and energy into the house.The family wanted a courtyard in the center. But the privacy of the bedrooms had to be considered as well. So a small stairway was built and the two bedrooms are on the first floor. This in fact makes the house looks like a single storied building from the outside.

Apparently, this is the sisters’ favorite spot in the entire house as they had always wanted a cozy nook to read books.

The foundation is strengthened using column footing. Designer Noufal says that a large area beneath the bedroom is used as work or utility area. The beams proved to be a good addition.

Made of wood and steel, the attractive stairway gives the feeling of an open space. The design of the stairway was drawn by Vismaya and Shilpa. Furniture
Simple, but beautiful furniture enhances the elegance of the interiors of this house. All pieces of furniture were custom-made for the family.
