Start with cleansing, toning, and moisturizing
» Clean your face with a good quality face cleanser from a reputed brand. Remember to scrub your skin and get rid of dead cells.
» Apply a moisturizer that contains good SPF (Sun protection factor) and massage well until it’s absorbed.
Setting the base
» Apply a foundation primer so that your makeup sets in well and the foundation lasts longer. Apply a foundation that suits your skin tone. Mix a small amount of illuminator with the foundation to get the desired glow.
» Apply concealer below your eyes, and wherever there are dark spots or blemishes. Apply it in a triangular shape under the eyes and blend the outer corners of the triangle. Remember to apply it in the corners of your eyes as those areas are darker than the rest of your face.
Contouring
Choose a foundation that’s a shade darker than your skin tone and apply it on the T-zones of your face, Blend in well to get a perfectly contoured face.
» Choose a compact or a loose mineral powder to set your makeup.
» Choose a bronzer or a blush that is not too darker than your skin tone. Apply the bronzer and work in a cross on your forehead, nose, and cheeks with a hard angled brush or stippling brush. To make your face look slimmer, apply the bronzer right under the apples of your cheeks (To find the apples, smile and apply the bronzer in the hollow of your cheeks).
For gorgeous eyes and lips
» Eye makeup: for the eye makeup to last longer, use an eye primer if you wish to. Curl your lashes with an eyelash curler, 15 seconds for each eye. Use an eyelash extender if you wish to. Apply metallic eyeshadow to your lashes. Line your upper eyelid with a waterproof eyeliner (liquid or gel-based) and use a kajal on your waterline. Fill in your eyebrows with eyebrow powder if you love thick eyebrows. Apply mascara to finish off.
» Lip makeup: Use a chapstick to moisturize your lips. Define your lips with a lip liner if you feel necessary. Apply a lipstick that suits your skin type. Use a lip gloss if you want a glossy finish.
