A final year medical student of Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, Ashitha loves writing. Though the Kottayam native accepts that medical studies take a major chunk of her busy time, she makes sure to find quality time for herself.
Ashitha Meenu's blog 'Raniaswinecellar' is a brewery of thoughts and a repository of memories. According to her, "Words can hurt or heal, spread joy or fear, incite revolutions or stop wars. They are the vessels that contain our emotions, irrespective of their origin or structure."
While being a doctor is her dream, writing is her passion. She began to embrace words from her days in school and Ashitha Meenu continues to immerse in that lingering camaraderie. Words have the power to transform the world, she believes.
Reading, baking and studying new languages fill up her array of diverse hobbies. Her love for medicine is not going to deter her wish to learn new languages and imbibe a fresh outlook about everything around her.
Ashitha plans to do her house surgency in Kottayam and do post graduation in medicine. Her father Dr Ayappan Pillai is an orthopedic surgeon in Mavelikkara and mother is a homemaker.
