Run for a cause: SBI's '5K Run' spreads awareness on drug abuse in Kochi Around 200 people participated in the campaign including officers and staff of the bank.

Kochi: The State Bank Learning Centre (SBLC) in Ernakulam on Friday organized a mass run campaign titled '5K Run' to spread awareness against drug addiction and substance abuse.

An initiative by the State Bank of India, the mass run began at 6.45 am from Bypass service road near Grand Mall at Edapally. The campaign was flagged off by Ernakulam range IG P Vijayan IPS.

Around 200 people participated in the campaign including officers and staff of the bank.

Dani Raj, manager SBLC welcomed the gathering.

P. Vijayan IPS said active involvement of public was required to fight against the evils of drugs from the society.
