The evolution of microprocessors has been an amazing journey. From single to deca-core processors, chip makers have been boosting processing power by leaps and bounds in recent years. Although deca-core processors were launched over a year ago, they are not so popular among gadget lovers. Here, we list out five smartphones, which feature the all-powerful deca-core processor.

Xiaomi Redmi Pro

Xiaomi Redmi Pro is the top pick among the smartphones that run on a deca-core processor. The smartphone is available in three variants: 3GB + 32GB, 3GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB. The variants are priced approximately Rs 15,100, Rs 17,100, and at Rs 20,200, respectively. The phone has three color options, viz., gold, silver, and dark gray.

The top variant of Xiaomi Redmi Pro features 13MP rear camera and 5MP at the front. It is powered by a very powerful deca-core MediaTek Helio X25 SoC processor clocked at 2.5GHz. The dual SIM smartphone supports up to 128GB of expandable storage.

Vernee Apollo Lite 32GB

The Vernee Apollo Lite 32GB, which is scheduled to launch by August, comes with the deca-core processor..The dual SIM (GSM+GSM) phone, as the name suggests, comes with 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128 GB via micro-SD card.

The Verne Apollo Lite 32GB is powered by a deca-core (2.1 GHz, dual core, cortex A72 + 2 GHz, quad core, Cortex A53 + 1.4 GHz, quad core, Cortex A53) processor, coupled with 4 GB of RAM. The phone comes with a 16MP primary camera and for shooting selfies, it has a 5 MP camera at the front.

Elephone R9 comes with a powerful MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core processor coupled with ARM Mali T880GPU and 4GB of RAM. The phone features 64 GB of internal storage and supports expandable memory up to 128GB (microSD card). The phone is available in black, gold and blue color options.

Elephone R9 runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). As far as cameras are concerned, the phone features a 13 MP sensor at the rear and a 5 MP shooter at the front for selfies. It is powered by a 3000 mAh Li-Ion battery. The prices start at Rs 21,450.

Zopo Speed 8

Zopo Speed 8 smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch touchscreen display with a 1080x1920 pixel resolution. The phone is claimed to be the first phone to have MediaTek's deca-core Helio X20 MT6797 SoC. The dual SIM phone features 4GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage but lacks an option to expand memory. Zopo Speed 8 has a 21MP primary camera, which remains its key feature. In addition, it also sports an 8MP front-facing camera for capturing selfies and video calls. Amazon India sells the phone at a price of Rs 19,999.

InFocus Epic 1

Launched in October 2016, InFocus Epic 1 comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080x 1920 pixels. The phone is powered by 1.4GHz Helio X20 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The InFocus Epic 1 features a 16MP primary shooter on the rear and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies. The phone is available at Amazon at a price of Rs 9,999.
