Samsung is all set to capture the minds of youth and selfie lovers with their new handset Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro. The phone is loaded with 16 MP front-facing camera and has Super AMOLED display. Most importantly, it supports Samsung Pay – the newly launched mobile payment system of Samsung. The phone is priced at Rs 27,990 and will be available on sale at Amazon India, starting April 11.
Samsung Pay support is believed to be one of the major attractions of Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro. Samsung’s payment feature which lets users make payments with their smartphones, is steadily gaining momentum. This feature is currently available only on Galaxy series. The Samsung Pay supports Paytm wallet and is likely to receive UPI support soon.
The Galaxy C7 Pro has 16MP cameras with f/1.9 aperture on both front and rear. In addition, the rear camera is loaded with features like PDAF and a dual-LED flash module. The cameras can record full-HD videos at a frame rate of 30 fps (frames per second).
Its 3300 mAh battery comes with Fast Charging support which is capable of charging batteries to full in 100 minutes.
Galaxy C7 Pro comes with a 5.7-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) Super AMOLED 2.5D Curved Glass display and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The phone is powered by a 2.2GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 626 SoC processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The phone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
The new smartphone is loaded with 64GB inbuilt storage. This can further be expanded up to 256 GB via microSD card at the cost of second SIM as the phone supports hybrid dual-SIM (Nano-SIM). It features a full-metal unibody and a fingerprint scanner on the home button.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm audio jack. The phone is loaded with sensors like ambient light sensor, accelerometer, digital compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. The phone measures 156.5x77.2x7mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 172g.
