Chennai: Noted South Indian music director, Adithyan, died in Hyderabad following a kidney problem, sources close to his family said on Wednesday.
Adithyan, 63, was undergoing treatment in Hyderabad for his kidney ailment and breathed his last on Tuesday, they said.
He is survived by wife and two daughters. The funeral will be held here Thursday.
The musician is known for his numbers in films such as the super hit gangster flick Amaran, besides Seevalaperi Pandi, in the early 90s. He has scored music for many Telugu and Tamil movies, the sources added.
Adithyan also hosted a culinary show in a popular Tamil TV channel.
