Kochi: At least three people were injured in an explosion at a gas turbine unit of the Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) refinery here on Tuesday. The injured have been admitted to a private hospital here.
The accident took place around 10 a.m. when maintenance works were on at the power generation unit.
The situation was brought under control and the operations resumed at the refinery by noon.
