Kottayam: Amid the controversy over the CBSE paper leaks that rocked the country, a student from Kottayam district of Kerala has come out with a fresh complaint.
Amiya Salim, a class X student of Mount Carmel Vidyaniketan here, has complained that the question paper she received for the Mathematics examination days ago was from 2016. She realised that the question paper was old when she was discussing the paper with her friends after the exam.
Amiya got the question paper that her brother Althaf had attempted in 2016.
She had written the exam at Navodaya centre at Vadavathoor and had informed the school authorities about the anomaly.
The school management later complained to the CBSE's regional office in Thiruvananthapuram but haven't received any response, it is learnt.
The CBSE has announced retest for class XII Economics and X Mathematics after it was found that the question papers for the subjects had leaked.
The Economics exam will be held on April 25 while the Maths test will be in July, but only for students of Delhi and Haryana.
This is since it was found in the preliminary investigation that the question paper had leaked only in these circles.
