The lorry first hit an auto and then rammed the Manimooly bus stop near Vazhikadavu.Nilambur, Malappuram: Two children were killed and 10 injured after a lorry ran over passengers waiting at a bus stop near Vazhikadavu in Nilambur on Tuesday.
The injured, mostly students of Manimooly CKHS, have been rushed to nearby hospitals. The lorry first hit an autorickshaw and then rammed a waiting shed at Manimooly near Vazhikadavu.
It is suspected that the driver had fallen asleep and lost control over the vehicle.
