Kavya Madhavan, Meenakshi and Nadhirshah come out of Aluva sub-jail. Aluva: Actor Dileep, who has been jailed for allegedly plotting the attack on a young actress in Kochi, had some special visitors at the Aluva sub-jail on Saturday.
His wife and actress Kavya Madhavan and daughter Meenakshi visited Dileep for the first time after his arrest on July 10. They were accompanied by Kavya's father Madhavan and Dileep's close friend and director Nadhirshah.
The visit coincided with judicial first class magistrate court in Angamaly allowing the actor to take part in the death anniversary rituals of his father on September 6.
Earlier, Dileep's mother Sarojam had visited him at the jail.
Kavya and Meenakshi arrived at the jail around 4.30 pm and spent 20 minutes with the actor. Though the mediapersons asked Kavya about prime accused Pulsar Suni's statement that she was the 'madam' involved in the case, the actress did not react.
It is learnt that though Kavya and Meenakshi had wanted to visit Dileep in jail, he had restrained them from doing so.
Dileep's remand has been extended till September 16. The Kerala High Court had rejected his bail application thrice.
