Kerala police to question Kavya Madhavan's mother, Mukesh again Shyamala, Mukesh, Rimi Tomy

Kochi: The Kerala police team probing the actress attack case will question Kavya Madhavan's mother, Mukesh, MLA; and Rimi Tomy again.

All of them have some connection to the accused, but it was not known whether they had any direct links to the crime.

Kavya's husband, actor Dileep, was arrested on July 10 for plotting the February 17 attack. The prime accused, Pulsar Suni, had earlier told the cops that he had handed over a memory card that contained the obscene images of the victim at Kavya's online boutique, Laksyah. These leads prompted the team to question Kavya for hours at Dileep's house in Aluva Tuesday.

Kavya's mother, Shyamala, had also faced police interrogation.

Mukesh came under the police scanner after it emerged that Suni had earlier worked as his driver. The Kollam MLA was questioned last week.

Recently, singer-anchor Rimi Tomy was also quizzed as she had been part of many star shows organized by Dileep.

The police had arrested Pulsar Suni, who had worked as a driver of many film personalities, six days after the incident. A letter which Pulsar Suni purportedly wrote to actor Dileep had caused a furore.

Dileep had undergone a marathon 13-hour grilling at the Aluva police club days ahead of his arrest. The actor had approached the police saying that the prime accused tried to blackmail him from jail. Things went awry for Dileep after the police found discrepancies in his statements. Dileep has been remanded in custody till August 8.
