Sabarimala: The forest department has warned pilgrims to Sabarimala of the presence of tigers near the shrine after pug marks of a tiger and two cubs were spotted near Urakkuzhi.

The forest officials chanced upon the pug marks on the narrow walkway that leads from Pandithavalam to Urakkuzhi. Pilgrims who want to take a dip at Urakkuzhi have been asked to be on alert.
