One just can't keep Chennai Super Kings captain M S Dhoni and his little daughter Ziva out of the news. Whether it be Dhoni finding time to get her ready during the hectic IPL schedule, or Ziva expressing her desire to hug her dad even as he walks out to bat, or the three-year-old dancing to Dwayne Bravo's 'Champion' song, social media never get tired of Captain Cool and his little gem. In the latest instance, Dhoni shared a video with Ziva on Instagram and thanked the Pune crowd after CSK beat Kings XI Punjab in their final match at their adopted home ground.
"Ziva gives me company for the last walk to the Pune dressing room for this season. Thanks a lot PUNE for supporting us and turning the whole stadium yellow, hope CSK entertained you guys enough," Dhoni wrote.
Crowd trouble over the Cauvery water row had forced CSK to shift their home matches from Chennai to Pune. CSK played only one home game at Chennai and won five out of the six games which were held at the Maharashtra Cricket Association stadium in Pune. Dhoni and CSK head coach Stephen Fleming chose Pune as the two had a fair idea of the Pune track, having teamed up for Rising Pune Supergiant in the past two editions of the IPL.
CSK take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in the first Qualifier in Mumbai on Tuesday. The winners will book their berth in Sunday's final, while the losers take on either Kolkata Knight Riders or Rajasthan Royals in the second Qualifier slated for Friday.
