It is known that Kerala's all time favorite singer K.J. Yesudas has a long association with Sabarimala temple and he considers the temple as a universal place of worship where caste or religion has no importance.
Though born in a Christian family, Yesudas always had an unbiased stance when it came to religion. The Sabarimala temple plays Harivarasanam sung by K.J. Yesudas every evening after the final pooja, but on Wednesday the authorities deviated from this practice and asked a visiting Yesudas to sing for the lord. Watch video:
