While most of the people were in awe of Anushka, it was nothing short of a tough exercise for the actress.
In fact, Anushka Sharma wore a stunning 17-kilo lehenga for her wedding scene in the song. Anushka looked beautiful flaunting her traditional outfit but the actress says it was difficult to shoot.
‘I was wearing such heavy clothes that everyone felt sorry for me. 17 kilos was the lehenga and then there was the jewelery. Everything put together, I was carrying 20 kilos at all time. All I could do was walk on my toes and my calves were getting like worked-out. It was very difficult. I had to climb these stairs again and again and it was so hot. I was looking like a beautiful bride but I wasn’t feeling like one’, she said.
Directed by Karan Johar, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil revolves around the notion of one sided love. Besides Ranbir and Anushka, the film also features beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.
The movie is set to hit the screens on October 28 alongside Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay.
